RDIF and RBPI Group, a subsidiary of CP Group, with the support of the government of Kaliningrad region will construct a plant for utilization of biowaste

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), RBPI Group, a subsidiary of the Thai conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group) and the Government of the Kaliningrad region came to an agreement on the joint implementation of the project for construction of a veterinary and sanitary utilization plant on the territory of the Gvardeisk District of the Kaliningrad Region. The agreement was signed on Thursday, June 1, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Full designed capacity of the plant is expected to be more than 5,200 tons per year. Biological waste from agricultural producers of the Kaliningrad region will be accepted for utilization. Implementation of the project will improve the veterinary-sanitary and environmental situation and solve the problem of utilization of biological waste in the region.
